Federal Reserve Bank

Zimmer began consulting with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 2000 as the Bank began considering options for expanding their existing facility or building a new facility to meet their need for more space.  When the decision was made to build a new facility, Zimmer assembled a 15-acre site near Crown Center which met the Bank’s requirements for  location, cost, and security setback requirements.

In 2007, The Port Authority of Kansas City acquired a 1,400-acre site on a grant from the city of Kansas City. The site was a former military air base and was to be simultaneously conveyed to CenterPoint Properties for the development of an intermodal center and industrial park.
